How do I add or reset my password?

Practice Works signs you in with a magic link by default: enter your email address and we send you a link that logs you straight in. No password needed.

You can also set a password and use that instead. Both methods keep working, so adding a password does not switch magic links off.

Add or reset your password

1. Go to app.practice.works/reset.
2. Enter the email address on your account and choose Email me a reset link.
3. Open the link in the email, choose a new password of at least 8 characters, and save it.

You can also reach the same place from the sign-in screen: choose Use a password instead, then Set up or reset your password under “Trouble signing in?”.

If the email does not arrive

Check your spam or junk folder, and make sure you used the same address you signed up with.

If you enter an address we do not recognise, we send you to the sign-up screen rather than the reset screen. That usually means a typo, or that you signed up with a different address.
